Maki Yamada has two faces: one is an athlete. He won gold medals in the 200m Athletics and 4x100m Relay at the Samsung 2017 Deaflympics and is aiming for the top again at the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics. The other is as a performer. He has been involved in pantomime since he was a child, and in May 2023 he will be performing in a play.
